Our Mission
At Gogh Create Studio, we strive to create a space where little artists of all skill levels can come to create. Our mission is to inspire and enrich students in art history, techniques, and foster a love of the arts in our community.
We are an art show driven studio. Throughout one course we aim to create a collection of masterpieces that artists will be able to show off in our end of season art expositions.
Our History
A note from Ms. Kelli:
"While this studio has been on my radar and a vision of mine for some time, Gogh Create Studio is a brand new business concept being introduced to our local Queen Creek and San Tan Valley communities.
The idea of Gogh Create Studio came to me after my family and I decided to homeschool. As a former art teacher for a local charter school, I knew I had so much more to offer in terms of art education. One of my favorite parts of teaching was hosting art shows for my little artists' families. The overwhelming amount of confidence that came from my students as they showed off their masterpieces to family members is the reason why I do any of this. The art show experience really validates creativity and gives artists something to be proud of.
I'm inspired by many of the greats, especially Van Gogh, and I feel like there is so much opportunity to learn from these historical artists. Art has impacted modern life as we know it, and we can't simply just escape it. Knowing that a lot of schools today don't have room in their curriculums to dive into the subject at an elementary level is why I decided to offer it to our community."
Curriculum Information: (Coming Soon)
- This course is a great fit for young art enthusiasts, ages 6-12, who want to take a deeper dive into the fundamentals and history of art. Courses are divided into 1st-3rd grade and 4th-5th grade students. Over the eight weeks we will complete a minimum of 4 projects with each class being 90 minutes.
- We have additional focuses on the principles and elements of art. Our objective is to dabble in various techniques and understand the extraordinary impact art has on all walks of life from the beginning of time to modern day. The class will all work on the same project appropriate for their age. Art is about creativity and individuality so rest assured students will still make the composition their own. This helps us achieve cohesive learning objectives since our courses are academic and technique based.
- At the end of each eight-week session students will host an art exposition for friends and family. Artists’ work will be showcased for all attendees. If you and your child choose to participate in the art show, student work will be available for pick up the next day and cannot be taken down in the middle of the show to protect the overall esthetic of the exposition. Student work will be kept at the studio until the end of the course for this reason and will not go home with students daily. If you wish to not participate in the show and would like work sent home immediately upon completion, please send us an email and we would be happy to send it with your child after it’s finished.
Additional Information & Tuition: (8 Week Course Coming Soon!)
- Course tuition is $250 ($125 a month) paid in full at the beginning of the eight-week session. This ensures we are prepared with the proper supplies.
- Basic cutting, gluing, and fine motor skills are necessary for ease of pace.
- Dress for a mess! We try very hard to remind artists to keep themselves clean, but in the art studio our artists are hard at work making masterpieces, and sometimes become unaware of their surroundings. Art mediums can be messy. Art shirts are available, but it is up to the student to put them on. If this is something you would like to utilize, please remind your child to ask for one. It is not the studio’s responsibility to enforce that they are worn so the best way to avoid ruining clothes is to send them to class in appropriate and unimportant attire.
